Kunjal's 3rd Month

Our sweet Kunjal already stepped into her 4th months. Time really flies away.

Kunjal's 100th day: She completed her 100th day on 13th of november . Here in Suwon we the Indian community celebrated Diwali on the same day. It was Nice coincidence. We were little scared wether we will be able to enjoy the party but Our dear Kunjal seemed to enjoy the party more than us and never complained. By 10pm when the Party was over she gave in and started crying but we soon headed for home and on reaching home she was smiling again.

First Solid food: Now she is ready for the big step into the world of solid food. She started with rice cereal baby food and she likes the new food to the extent that she tries to hold the spoon and put it on her mouth by herself . This food is surely better than that plain white milk.

Last week we were eating tangerines and out of curiosity we took a small section of tangerine and brought it near her mouth to let her lick it. For a few seconds she licked and it seemed she liked it and all of a sudden she swallowed the part!!!!!!!!. We were dumb for a moment then became extremely frightened. We didn't knew how to take it out and what if she chokes! But to our great relief she didnt show any reaction and it seemed like she was looking for more. She didnt show any kind of uncomfortableness for next one hour and we stopped worrying thanking god.

Kunjal on her tummy: Another new achivement is that she holds her head for long time when we put her on tummy and is no more fussy in that posture. Instead she tries to roll over.

These days she laugh out loudly when we tickle on her feet or on her neck and also plays for a longer time.

She also tries to coo or respond to any conversation going on and the expression in her eyes and face shows she is very much interested in it. She starts moving her hands and legs to attract attention and also keeps on making sounds whenever she sees us talking .

She loves to shake her friends: She got a nice idea to move the dolls on the mobile. First she slowly shakes her legs so the dolls move slowly. Then she shakes her arms and legs together slowly to see the intensity of movement and then she starts shaking her arms and legs so fast that her cradle also starts making sound and her friends in tthe mobile starts moving to and fro that gives her ultimate pleasure and she smiles at her achievement .
We cant help laughing loud seeing all these things and she keeps doing this till she is too tired.

Pillow tastes much better than fingers: Another habit she developed this month . She tried to put her fingers in her mouth while sleeping but surprisingly she dont like the taste of her own fingers . Instead she pulls the corner of her pillow cover and keeps sucking it till she is asleep.A very bad habit indeed but dont know how to change it and I end up changing and washing her pillow cover everyday.
